A total of 65 girls from grades 3-9 took part in the four-day camp. Coach Eades and her staff, along with several members of the Lady Pioneer basketball team, instructed the campers on the fundamentals, as well as provided quality individual and team competition.
‘Once again we had a great turnout,’ said coach Eades.
‘We had a big group of girls out here. They were enthusiastic and we got a lot of things accomplished. Everyone had a good time. Several kids caught my eye. I was impressed with their skills and their athletic abilities. It’s great to see this many kids who want to work on their basketball skills.’
Campers divided up into three player teams according to their age groups and competed in a three-on-three tournament on Thursday. After the session concluded the campers tested their shooting skills in a Big Money Shot contest. Each girl was given a camp T-shirt at the end of the four-day session.
