Judge Larry Ross hears 49-person court docket
A 49-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court. Included in court action:
‘ James F. Hopkins was bound to the grand jury on charges of domestic assault, resisting with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault.
‘ Larry Nelson Pegg was ordered to serve 37 days of a six-month sentence for resisting stop and failure to appear in court.
‘ John W. Adams was directed to serve 70 days of an 11-29 sentence and attend conflict management for domestic assault and resisting arrest.
‘ Roland Winter was directed to serve 31 days of an 11-29 sentence and attend anger management for domestic assault.
‘ Alfred Simmons was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.
‘ Brooks Majors was bound to the grand jury on charges of manufacture of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and running a stop sign.
‘ Kylie Grissom was bound to the grand jury on the charge of attempted aggravated burglary.
‘ Leatha Watts was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs for simple possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
‘ Wayne Womack was granted a six-month judicial diversion for passing a worthless check for $195.
‘ Mitchell Merriman was given an 11-29 probationary sentence for passing four worthless checks.
‘ Curtis Lehman must pay $10 plus costs for public intoxication.
‘ Dolores Castona was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $500 plus costs for vandalism and violation of probation.
‘ Chad Thompson must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
‘ Ronald Thompson must serve five days for violation of probation.
‘ Annette Morton West must serve 90 days for violation of probation.
‘ Alicia McKenzie must serve five days and must have her probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
‘ Carrie Arnold must serve the balance of her sentence for violation of probation.
‘ Tanya R. Anderson must serve 48 hours and have her probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
