Led by Lauren Wilkinson and Lauren Roller, the Lady Pioneers’ only two losses of the season came to Shelbyville Harris, the second of which clinched the regular season championship and top tourney seed for the Lady Eagles.
Fans of Central Tennessee Conference soccer knew the two squads would meet one more time, and their predictions came true as WCMS blanked Tullahoma in the tourney’s first round to set up the rematch.
Unfortunately, revenge was not to be had, as the Lady Eagles captured the title with a 3-0 win in the finals, ending Warren County’s season at 9-3-1.
