Patsy Ann Rachel, 53

Smithville resident Patsy Ann Rachel, 53, died Sept. 28 at River Park Hospital.

A retired GM employee and a teacher with Warren County Middle School, she was a member of New Life Church of Manchester.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Roy R. Rachel; daughters, Priscilla Ann Banks of Manchester and Darlene Smith of Ohio; sons, Dewayne Allen Walsley of Michigan, Roy Raymond Rachel Jr., of Ohio, Robin Dale Rachel of Florida, Rodney Eugene Rachel of Michigan and Aaron Dale Rachel of Ohio; grandson, Landon Isaac Banks of Manchester; parents, Robert and Eula Presley of Smithville; sisters, Phyllis Brown of Sparta, Jackie Worley of North Carolina, Glenda Theiss and Pamela Corey of Smithville, Evie Miller of Ohio, Teresa Simmons of Illinois and Babbie Crawford of Mosheim; and brother, Robert Dewayne Presley of Smithville.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville with Howard Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.
