Nissan forms ‘Enriching People’s Lives’ partnership with TPAC

In alignment with Nissan’s global vision of “Enriching People’s Lives,” Nissan North America is announcing a sustained partnership with the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC), which provides comprehensive arts education programs to Tennessee schools and the Nashville community.

The $80,000 partnership with TPAC will provide support for the performing arts center’s educational programs and initiatives that focus on strengthening the presence of the performing arts in schools and throughout the community.

“As a part of our ongoing commitment to enriching the quality of life for those in the communities we serve, Nissan is proud to support the Tennessee Performing Arts Center educational programs,” said Frederique Le Greves, Vice President, Corporate Communications, Nissan North America. “We are excited about building a partnership with an organization that recognizes the importance of making the arts an important part of our community.”

At the heart of TPAC’s educational initiatives is learning through the arts, focusing on enhanced curriculums that expand students’ horizons through theater, music and dance. In addition to using the arts as a catalyst in students’ development, and bringing students to the center for live performances, TPAC also provides learning opportunities for adults and growing opportunities for toddlers.

“Our partnership provides educational and life-enriching programs at TPAC and in classrooms throughout the region, said Kathleen O’Brien, TPAC’s president and chief executive officer. “We’re looking forward to a fun and interactive association that involves Nissan employees in what we do and advances a shared mission of service to the community.”

To celebrate Nissan’s interactive partnership, new Nissan and Infiniti car models will be on display at TPAC’s main entrance throughout the season, courtesy of local Nissan and Infiniti dealers.

In the year since moving its corporate headquarters to Nashville, Nissan North America has become a leader in serving the people of Middle Tennessee by supporting non-profit organizations and a variety of special initiatives. These include providing funding for the Middle Tennessee Second Harvest Food Bank’s food and toy drive, mentoring at Middle Tennessee 100 Black Men and supporting the educational programs of the local YMCA’s Hispanic Achievers.
