It looks like you get more time for killing a dog than a human
TO THE EDITOR:
In today’s time, you shoot and kill a human life, in front of witnesses, and you get not much more than a slap on the hand in court. But shoot a dog or cat in front of witnesses and you’re facing several years in prison.
