David William Barrett, 24
A native and lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, he was self-employed in the construction business. He was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eugene Pendergrast. He is survived by his mother, Penny Melton and father Fred K. Barrett; foster parents, Terry and Cindy Bouldin of McMinnville; brothers, Bryan Pendergrast, Johnny Bouldin and Heath Cruse, all of McMinnville, and grandmother, Luzeat Pendergrast of Rutherford County.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Jennings and Ayers with Terry Grissom officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Jennings and Ayers, 820 S. Church Street, Murfreesboro.
