Traffic Court – Ross hears 146-person court docket
A 146-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.
Included in traffic court:
? Melanie Brimer was bound over to the grand jury on charges of fifth-offense DUI and second-offense driving on a revoked license. She must serve the balance of her former sentence for violation of probation.
? Timothy Johnson was bound to the grand jury on the charge of fourth-offense driving on a revoked license.
? Nicholas Cuma was ordered to serve 24 hours of an 11-29 sentence, perform 24 hours public service work, pay $600 plus costs and lose his license for one year for DUI and simple possession of drugs.
? Danny Payne was instructed to serve 24 hours of an 11-29 sentence, perform 24 hours public service work, pay $350 plus costs and lose his license for one year for DUI.
? Juan Manuel H. Dimas was ordered to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, and lose his license for one year for DUI.
? Ronald G. Young was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a revoked license.
? Samantha Stahl was bound to the grand jury on the charge of second-offense driving on a suspended license.
? Jose Leveant, Ricky Sweeney and George Perez were ordered to serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.
? Amanda Chaple was directed to serve 48 hours and pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
? James Armstrong, Jessica Boles, Fernando R. Sosa, Edgar Vallejo, Ralph Woodlee Jr., Jose Dejesus Lozoya, Araceli Marquez, Ismael S. Morales, Luis Loera, David Fuqua, Chad Gannon and Misty Brumley were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
? Stephen Gallagher was fined $50 plus costs for violation of the open container law.
? Lori Sherrill must serve five days and have her probation extended by three months for violation of probation.
? Jeffery Roberts must serve 10 days and have his probation extended by a year for violation of probation.
? Thomas B. Hildreth must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
? Bobby Farless must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.
? The remainder of cases were either continued to a later date, dismissed or were minor moving violations.
