Mr. King was the owner of Kings Brothers Tree Farm and Nursery. He is survived by wife, Patricia King; daughters, Andrea Jacobs, Christy Locke of McMinnville, Lisa and David Christian of Manchester, Heather King of Palmer; sisters, Brenda and A.C. Forsyth, Diana and Robin Smartt of Beersheba Springs, Linda and Barry Campbell of Altamont; brothers, L.V. and Opal King of Coalmont, ?Cotton? Norman and Annie Mae King of Beersheba Springs, Hugh Gerald and Jacque King of Colorado, Jerry and Annette King of Beersheba Springs, Lynn and Dana King of Rock Island, and 12 grandchildren, Kiagan, Jacob, Hannah and Kaytee Christian, Br?Aumma Partin, Christian Locke, Courtlyne Saver, Destiny Jordan, Stefan and Summer Payne, Shanea and Joseph Wideman. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank C. and Elizabeth Bess King; and sisters, Euphemia Barks and Juanita King.
Services were held Saturday at Love-Cantrell-Cope Funeral Home with David Christian officiating. Interment followed at Bess Whitman Cemetery in Grundy County.
