This is Collier?s second year as the school?s instructional coordinator.
?Basically, I?m the instructional coordinator because I do all the paperwork,? said Collier. ?I do all the reports and things that have to be turned in to the state.?

She also oversees all the in-school suspension students. That position might not get her any brownie points with the students who get sent to her room, but they don?t seem to hold it against her, she said.

?They know it?s not my fault they are here,? said Collier. ?Usually they are here because they didn?t do their work or they are misbehaving in class, so they have to sit here and do their work. It?s nice they don?t see me as the enemy.?

Although she began her career at Eastside, other students might recognize Collier because she has taught at Centertown, West and Morrison before returning to Eastside.

Along with walking, Collier takes enjoyment out of making scrapbooks for her children, Michael and Ginger.
