I have done nothing wrong during tenure at Trustee?s office

TO THE EDITOR:

I am writing this letter regarding the articles printed about the Trustee?s office. I have been a loyal and dedicated employee for nearly 16 years in this office, but with the recent articles printed in the newspaper, my reputation as an honest and hardworking employee is being questioned. The articles are misleading and that is why I am writing this letter to defend my name and my reputation.

The out of country trip which I took last November was in fact used as sick days. At the time I used these five sick days I had accumulated 185 days over the past 16 years. As anyone can see, I have never abused, nor have I taken for granted, these days. Rule B, sections 1, 2 and 3 of the Warren County Personnel Policy dealing with ?sick leave? is totally silent with respect to the use of such days for personal use.

I hope this letter sheds some light and helps the people of Warren County understand my situation. I have met many wonderful and supportive people over the last several months during my campaign. I just wanted the people to know that, to my knowledge, I have done nothing wrong.
