Boyd lands corporate health care position

Ann Boyd is making the pages of Business Pulse again. The former River Park marketing director, who is also known for starting a restaurant in the old Collection building, is now the corporate director of marketing for Friendship Home Healthcare Systems.

Since the home office for Friendship is in Nashville, Ann moved to Murfreesboro a few weeks ago to make the commute easier.

?This is all a big change for me, an exciting change,? said Ann. ?The home health care business is very competitive and I have to travel a lot. I?m in charge of the marketing for 22 counties.?

The McMinnville branch of Friendship Home Healthcare recently moved to a new location at 461 N. Chancery Street, which is near Dale Potter?s office. Ann says she?s impressed with the staff at our local office and says the company itself does a great job of handling direct care services for its patients.

Since Ann?s in the marketing department, I expected that type of statement. Now I would have been absolutely stunned if she said the company was just mediocre.

As for the Bird?s Nest Cafe that Ann used to operate at The Collection, she says that was fun. But she was quick to add she still stays busy in the kitchen by doing a good bit of private catering.

As for her background information, Ann attended McMinnville City High and is the daughter of Dot Panter and the late J.C. Panter. She has two daughters, Angelia Higgins and Jennifer Boyd, and four grandchildren.
