Lucky-Northside FCE met Feb. 15 at LaCazona for their monthly meeting. President Sandara Griffith led the meeting. Roll call was answered by the six members with, ?A favorite dessert is. . . ?

Linda Schlimmer and Irene Fuston displayed a make-up cape they made in January. Global leader Schlimmer reported Spain is the chosen country for International Day activities taking place April 28.

Agent Hilda Lytle gave a program ?Med-Wise, OTC Medicines.? She told about concerns for over-the-counter medicines and reminded us of the three R?s ? respect, risks and responsibility.

Secretary Irene Fuston read the minutes of the previous meeting and a financial report was g iven by Francis Holcomb and she thanked the group for the wreath sent upon the death of her sister.

The group agreed to donate $25 toward prizes for the 4-H bread baking contest on March 11. Judges for event will be Linda Schlimmer, Irene Fuston, Nelle Roller and Sandra Griffith. Special projects leaders Holcomb and Griffith will attend leader training this monthly and members are encouraged to turn in CVU hours.

Upcoming events include March 9, Grab Bag Day; FCE County Council Meeting, March 13 and visitation with Vinson?s Crossroads will be March 16. Members are asked to bring items for show to share with our host club.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal at LaCazona, as well as the fellowship with the members.
