Mandy Walkup to wed Brad Cabbage March 25

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Amanda Kate Walkup and Thomas Bradford Cabbage, both of Knoxville, is being announced by the bride’s parents Lyon and Joyce Walkup of Morrison. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Hilton and Pearl Smith and the late Ray and Fancye Walkup.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Larry and Kathy Cabbage of Rutledge. His grandparents are Evelyn and the late Carson Cabbage of Rutledge and Georgia and the late Frosty Lee of Knoxville. He is the great-grandson of Susan and the late Herman Cabbage of Rutledge.

The couple plan to wed at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 3:30 p.m. on March 25.

Mandy is a 1997 graduate of Warren County High School and a 2001 graduate of Tennessee Technological University. She is a case manager for the Department of Children Services in Loudon County.

Brad is a 1998 graduate of Rutledge High school and a 2004 graduate of TTU. He is employed as a civil engineer with Tennessee Asphalt Company in Knoxville.
