Beacon Federal donates to FIC

Beacon Federal employees are joining in the Christmas spirit this year, as employees donated $220 to Families in Crisis. The donation was made instead of giving Christmas presents to each other this year.

In light of their employees’ dedication to such a good cause, Beacon Federal matched the donation bringing the total up to $440.

“We were so happy to hear Beacon was going to match our donation,” said assistant branch manager Dana Green. “Our employees donated the $220, which is still quite a bit for 10 employees.”

A donation box will also be available in the front office until Dec. 30 for those wishing to make item donations to Families in Crisis.

Items needed at Families in Crisis include copy paper, office supplies, hairbrushes, ladies nightshirts, laundry soap and fabric softener, automatic dishwashing detergent, spray and liquid Lysol, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, zip storage bags, garbage bags, grocery cards, and gas cards.
