Warren County Schools closed today

Warren County Schools will be closed today due to adverse weather conditions caused by the remnants of Hurricane Katrina as it passes through Middle Tennessee.

There is an Inland tropical storm warning in effect until 2 pm cdt this afternoon. Tornado watch in effect until 1 p.m. cdt this afternoon. Flood watch in effect until noon.

Today … Showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms through early afternoon … Then scattered showers. Windy. Highs in the mid to upper 70s. South winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph.

Tonight … Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows in the upper 60s. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Wednesday … Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 80s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday night … Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s. Northwest winds around 5 mph…Shifting to the north around 5 mph after midnight.
