The ISA Centertown Invitational Tournament for men’s Class E teams will be held at the Centertown ballfields Saturday, June 25. Entry fee is $160, plus a $25 sanction fee. Teams must provide their own .44 cor/375 comp. ISA stamped and approved softballs.

ISA/Worth Bat Attack
The fourth annual ISA/Worth Bat Attack tournament will be held July 16 and 17 at Crossville. The tournament is for men’s Class D and E teams.
Entry fee is $170, plus a $25 sanction fee. Teams must provide their own .44 cor/375 comp. ISA stamped and approved softballs, which will be available for purchase at the tournament. If a minimum of 10 teams enter each division, a Worth bat will be awarded for first place.

Wrestling camp
A wrestling camp will be held by coaches David Holcomb and Lee Ramsey June 20-23, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. each day, at Siegel High School in Murfreesboro.
Cost for the camp is $40 if participants register before June 16, and $50 after June 16. Registration fee includes a camp T-shirt.

Warren Co. Titans football sign-ups
The Warren County Titans will be holding registration on June 25, July 9, July 16 and July 23 at the football field behind Bobby Ray Elementary School from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The Titans play four home games, and four away games around the middle Tennessee area, with all games being played on Saturdays. There is no admission to their games. The teams are affiliated with the Tennesee Youth Football Alliance, and their coaches are NYSCA certified, while referees are TSSAA certified. The team age brackets are: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 years old.
Registration fees are $40 for football, which covers everything but shoes, and $60 for cheerleaders, which buys a uniform the youngster gets to keep. For more information on the Titans or sign-up times, call league president Pat Moran at 668-2304 or athletic director Hal Mayfield at 668-4230.
WCJFL sign-ups
The Warren County Junior Football League will be holding sign-ups July 9,16 and 23 at the Mcminnville Civic Center. There will also be sign-ups and tryouts for any new players or anyone moving up in ages groups on July 30 at Warren Co Middle School. The age groups are 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 years old.
Cheerleading sign-ups will also be held on the same days. Cost is $35 for football players and $25 for cheerleading. The WCJFL is a non-traveling league with all games played on Saturdays at Nunley Stadium. All equipment is furnished by the league and is either bought new or recertified each year. Turning Two Baseball Camp
The Turning Two Baseball camp will be held July 11-13 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Cost of the camp is $60, which includes T-shirt. Contact coach Brent Whitlock by July 5 for information at 939-3875.
Future Pioneers Basketball Camp
The Pioneer basketball team and coaching staff will hold a youth camp July 18-20. The camp will be divided into two sessions with first-fourth grade from noon-2 p.m. and fifth-eighth grade from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Players’ division into grades will be based on the school grade they will be in for the 2005-2006 school year.

Triathlon volunteers needed
Volunteers are needed to assist with the annual McMinnville City Triathlon, which will be held Saturday, June 25.

Kids fishing derby
McMinnville Parks and Recreation and Wal-Mart would like to announce that they are co-sponsoring “The Wal-Mart Kids All-American Fishing Derby” Saturday, June 18, at Riverfront Park from 8 a.m. until noon.
Registration will begin at 7:30 the day of the event. There will be four age groups competing: Under 4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13-16. Prizes will be given for the longest, heaviest and first fish caught in each age group. There will also be a casting contest and door prizes given throughout the day.
There is no cost to enter, and you can register now at the Civic Center. So grab your fishing rod, bait and a smile and come on down for a great time. For more information, stop by the Civic Center or call Justin Scott at 473-1212.
WCMS softball tryouts
Warren County Middle School will be having softball tryouts this summer, beginning with sign-ups on June 20 and continuing through June 23. Tryouts will be from 4-6 p.m. each day at the Warren County High School softball field.
Any parent of a player who will be out of town during the tryout period may contact Walker at 473-6557 or 273-6772 to arrange a makeup tryout.
WWJD basketball camp
The third annual WWJD Basketball camp will be held nightly in four sessions this year, at the Viola Community Center.
Sessions will be from 6-8:30 p.m. each night. Cost is $30 per camper.
The first two sessions will be for third- through fifth-graders and will be held June 13-16 and July 25-28. Sessions three and four, for sixth- through eighth-graders, will be June 20-23 and July 18-21.
The camp promotes Christian values as well as improving self-esteem and basketball skills. Activities include fundamental instruction and individual competitions each night, as well as meeting and making new friends, Christian atmosphere and “team time,” learning to make the right choices on and off the court, and “WWJD” sportsmanship.

Warren County Youth Soccer Sign-Ups
The McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Warren County Youth Soccer Association will hold registration for the 2005 WCYSL to be played at Pistole Park this fall on July 7 and 8 from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. and June 11 and July 9 from 9 a.m till noon at the McMinnville Civic Center for boys and girls ages 4 1/2-15 years old. Soccer Lessons
Starting June 2, coach Dabe Banerjee will give daily one-hour soccer lessons to boys and girls age 8-14 for $2 per lesson or $10 per week.
Improve your physical ability, mental toughness on the field with individual defensive technique, tactical awareness, scoring ability, and most importantly, confidence with the ball. Improvement in your overall skill level is guaranteed. If you plan on playing middle school or high school soccer your participation is encouraged.
