Amanda Stewart to wed June 4

Central Church of Christ will serve as the setting for the marriage of Amanda Leigh Stewart and Michael Ryan Hargis June 4.

Plans for the forthcoming marriage of Amanda Leigh Stewart and Michael Ryan Hargis of Nashville are being revealed by the bride-elect’s parents, Lillian and William Stewart. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Eileen Hargis of Nashville and Jimmy Hargis of Chattanooga.

The betrothed couple will exchange vows June 4 at Central Church of Christ.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cora D. Simpson and the late David Luther Simpson and Ruth and the late James Edward Stewart, all of Sparta.

Her fianc? is the grandson of the late Lucille and William Basil Hill of Roxoboro, NC.

She is a Warren County High School graduate and is a senior English major at Middle Tennessee State University. Hargis is a graduate of McGavock High School and both are employed with Applebee’s and Opryland. After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Nashville.
