Pioneerettes hand out 2005 awards

The 2004-2005 Pioneerette Dance Team recently held its end of the year awards picnic, presenting several team members with individual honors.

Senior Chasity Key received the DeAnna Grayson Memorial Scholarship. She will be continuing her dance career at Tennessee Tech University, as a member of the Golden Girls dance team.

“Outstanding” honors were given to a representative from each class. Recognized as the most outstanding members of their classes were freshman Callie Durham, sophomore Kristen Hutchins, junior Kara Green and senior Stacie Wanamaker. Brandy Jennings received the most outstanding junior varsity dancer award.

Senior Allison Rogers also received a scholarship, taking home the Patti Clark Pioneerette Scholarship after finishing the school year with the team’s highest grade-point average.
