William (Billy) M. Grove, 77
An employee of TVA and the U.S. Postal Service and a member of the American Legion and a Mason, he was a U.S. Army veteran.
The son of the late Joe and Anna Maude Deweese Grove, he was preceded in death by son, Bobby Joe Grove; brothers, Robert, T.G., Otis, Terry and Jim Grove; and sisters, Sophie Harvey and Artie B. Pickett.
He is survived by his wife, Imogene Grove; son, Murphy Eugene Grove of Spencer; daughters, Anna LaVerne Grove of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Billie Elaine Pigman of Baxter; grandchildren, Christopher Brian, Joey Dewayne, Zoey Elaine and Wendy Rochell Grove, Tina Ann McKay, Barbara Valeta Cross, Brandie Dawn Noonan, Michael John, Amber Durean and Anna Durean Pigman; 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, sister, Jo Ann Beach of Fall Creek Falls and Edith Bayless of New Martin; brother, Drake Grove of Morristown; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Spencer Chapel with Bob McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Drake Cemetery with military graveside rites administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until time of service today at the Spencer Chapel.
