Pioneer freshmen Darrid Wells (57) and Chris Burris (36) scramble after a fumble during the first White County possession in Thursday night’s game at Nunley Stadium. Wells made the initial hit on the Warriors’ Kyle Dulaney (16), jarring the ball loose, and Burris came up with the fumble recovery, setting the stage for the Pioneers’ first touchdown.
