Security Federal holds narrow lead

The race for the Gold and Silver League title is heating up.

Security Federal holds a one-point lead over Dr Pepper Bottling in the Gold and Silver league, clinging to first place with 25 points.

Cumberland Lumber is in third place with 18 points followed by Crouch Motors with 17, Holder Realty with 16.5 and McMinnville Lanes with 7.5 points.

Francis Hobbs rolled a high game of 184, Jean Simmons rolled a 172 and Robbie Bond had a 169 high game.

Bond had the high series of the day with a 491 and Simmons and Patty Womack had a 475 series for the women.

For the men, Louis Morris had a high game of 244 and a high series of 541. James Hutchins had a 224 game and a 609 series. Larry Patton had a 200 game and a 504 series.

In team play, Dr Pepper had a 671 high game and a 1999 series.
