OK Heating cools off Castle Heights
Action last week in the girls 7-8 year-old coach pitch league saw OK Heating and Air edge Castle Heights 13-12. The two teams combined for 36 hits on the night.
OK Heating scored three runs in the first inning, nine runs in the second, two in the third and three in the fourth. Castle Heights scored one run in the first, six in the second, two in the third and three in the fourth.
For OK Heating, Lexie Wood had three hits. Kendra Rymer, Morgan McCormick, Kayla Brown, Alicia Johnson and Lacey Jones had two hits each and Kailyn Cantrell added one hit. For Castle Heights, Mallory Foster and Darah Owens had four hits each. Katie Tubb, Haley Bennett and Katelyn Lester had three hits each. Hannah Hardcastle and McKayla Todd had two hits each and She’nce Ramsey added on hit. Hannah Hardcastle, Haley Bennett and Lacey Jones each hit homeruns.
Kirby Real Estate defeated TMF 16-4. Kirby scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second, five in the third and eight in the fourth. TMF scored one in the first and three runs in the fourth.
For Kirby Real Estate, LeeAnn Dodson and Liza Harvey had three hits each. Stacey Arnold, Toni Erica Bell, Rachel Nokes and Trista Key had two hits each. Isabel Kirby, Peyton Griffith and Savanah Darnbush had one hit each. For TMF, Chelsey Chandler, Brittany Porter and McKenzi Rockwell had two hits each. Madison Taylor, Brittany Myers, Madison Adams and Kelley Allphin had one hit each. LeeAnn Dodson had one home run on the night.
