Ella F. Sowell, 89
A retired employee of Blue Ridge Manufacturing and a member of Washington Street Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Sara Jane Lewis Wade, and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Sowell.
She is survived by son, Paul D. Sowell Jr. of McMinnville; daughter Lynda Cox of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home with Doug Mitchell and Jim Black officiating. Burial followed at Talley Cemetery.
Higgins Funeral Home of Fayetteville was in charge of arrangements.
