Feb. 29: Celebrate Jesus Rally features Chris Sanders

Former Titans wide receiver Chris Sanders will be featured speaker Feb. 29 for the annual Celebrate Jesus Rally at the Civic Center with music by the Isaacs, a well-known Gospel Music group. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.

Several churches in the Warren County area have bonded together to sponsor the rally with a Youth Rally also being part of the planned program. The Youth Rally will get under way at 4:30 p.m. followed by a Pizza Blast. A Youth Praise band will provide music prior to Chris Sanders’ visit with the group.

The main rally begins at 6:30 p.m. as the Isaacs present a gospel concert lasting approximately 45 minutes. The former Titans standout will be sharing his testimony of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Isaacs have a unique style that marries bluegrass harmonies and instrumentation with modern southern gospel lyrics. Their musical influences emerge from all genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, contemporary acoustic and southern gospel.

The family group, based out of Lafollette, performs frequently at the Grand Ole Opry, are active members of the Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concert Series, and travel throughout the year, performing nationally. They have been asked to perform the National Anthem for such events as a Cincinnati Bengal’s Football game, several Nashville Predators Hockey games, political rallies and most recently at Carnegie Hall for a Gaither Homecoming video.
