Fall bowling squads hit the lanes
Holder Realty posted 15 points for first place during this week’s play in the Gold and Silver bowling league.
Cumberland Lumber is in second, followed by Cumberland Bank, Dr Pepper, Crouch Motors, Security Federal, Jones Twins Beauty Salon and Garden City Bowl.
For the women two pins separated the high game, which was turned in by Virginia Money with a 159. Francis Hobbs had a 157 and Katherine Good had a 156. Money had the high series with a 426 and Peggy White turned in a 422.
For the men Billy Hayes had the high game of 221 and high series of 582. Larry Patton turned in a 206 game and Gene Money had a 193 game. In team play Dr Pepper had the high game with a 620 and Holder Realty had high series with a 1807.
• In the Moose Mixed League, Northern Rednecks are in first followed by Hayes Heros, M. P.’s, Ball and Chain, New Crew, Cruisers, The Rebels, Po Folks, The Peppers and Pin Knockers.
George Vins had the high game with a 230. Billy Hayes had the high game handicap of 239 and high series handicap with a 648. Billy Pitmon had the high series with a 574. Larry Tittsworth had the game handicap of 239.
For the women, Dorothy Lyle had the high game 181, high game handicap 230 and series handicap of 637. Linda Foutch had the high series with a 518.
• In the 501 league, Power Bowlers are in first. Lucky Ducks second and Friends are in third. Bob Cats, High Rollers, The Colts, A-Team, Titians, Oh Well and Cat Dog round out the bottom seven.
Tommy Murphy had the high game and high series with a 128 and 341. Leland Miles had the high game handicap with a 225. Benji Henegar, Jared Wade, Tommy Murphy, Larry Keith and John Stoval had the series handicap with a 602.
Felicia Tate had the high game with a 135 and handicap game with a 247. Gail Goff, Doris Sweeny and Ida McCurdy had the series handicap with a 602.
