Coursey wants to see every dog have its day

To say Linda Coursey is an animal lover would be an understatement of major proportions. Coursey is currently caring for 30 dogs, both purebred and mixed breeds, 19 of her own and 11 she is fostering for the local animal shelter. Coursey works with the shelter to take in the dogs, clean them up, get them their shots and worm them, and then tries to find them a home with a good family.

Coursey says it all comes naturally.

“I’ve always had dogs,” she said. Up until Saturday morning she was caring for 31 animals, but managed to adopt out one of her brood to a family which promised to have the animal spayed in keeping with shelter policies.
