I don’t want porn delivered by mail
Why? This is my question — why I have no control over what can be delivered to my personal mailbox? I do not want soft porn in my world. I do not want any porn in my world. Seven years ago I shut off my television because even when I block channels the advertisements are full of sex. Because sex sells. Well, I’m not buying!
I have spoken to the owner of a “free paper” that is delivered every Tuesday to my home. He smirked telling me I’m the only one who has complained about his sex ad. Then I spoke to the postmaster. Although he agreed it is ugly, the free paper pays a bulk rate, so everyone must get one in their box.
Well this is outrageous. I’m forced to accept porn in my personal mailbox because he spent his money shoving it down my throat. I do not approve of porn, soft or hard, and I have kept it out of my home because it is my choice.
Why is this shopper allowed to make my choice?
