Ringside Review: Fans have chance to quiz Goldberg online

The following are highlights from a recent America Online chat between Bill Goldberg and his fans on BillGoldberg.com:

Question: What wrestling stars did you admire when you were growing up?

Goldberg: Bruiser Brody was my favorite

Q: Are you interested in the WWE?

Goldberg: Yes, there is always a chance that the WWE could be a possibility.

Q: Who would you like to wrestle against in the WWE?

Goldberg: The Rock, Hulk Hogan, HHH and The Undertaker, to mention a few.

Q: Who trained you?

Goldberg: The man that was most integral to my success would have to be Dwayne Bruce, aka “Sarge.”

Q: What do you think of the NWA-TNA’s X-Division?

Goldberg: I haven’t seen it, but it can’t be too good if Vince Russo is involved.

Q: What are your goals when you return to the ring?

Goldberg: My goal is always to be the best at what I do.

Q: What are your thoughts on Vince McMahon buying the WCW?

Goldberg: It sure didn’t turn out like he planned.

Q: What are your thoughts on Brock Lesnar?

Goldberg: I am impressed with his abilities.

Q: When will we see you on TV again in America?

Goldberg: Ask Vince McMahon. My movie, “Looney Tunes Back in Action: comes out in November.

Q: What country do you prefer to wrestle in — Japan or the USA?

Goldberg: I enjoy my wrestling experience in Japan, but there is no question that I cannot wait to get back in the ring in the United States.

Q: What do you think of the impending return of Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Goldberg: If done properly, it could be a shot in the arm for pro wrestling.

Q: Will you be at WrestleMania?

Goldberg: I don’t know. Check the odds in Vegas!

Q: Is it true you were on the movie set with The Rock?

Goldberg: Yes. I stopped by to say hello, and talk a little business.

Q: Would you wrestle Steve Austin?

Goldberg: In a minute! I think the fans deserve to see it happen!

• The IWF returns to action tonight at Jake’s Auction Barn, with Donny and Danny Fargo teaming against Mexican Angel and Desperado in the main event.

Also scheduled are Snowman vs. Southern Hillbilly, Vandy Fultz vs. the 7-foot-tall Gravestone, and the return of Dreamweaver plus many other matches.

Bell time is 8 p.m., and all tickets are $7 with kids 6 and under admitted free.
