Commandments can be held in our hearts
I would like to say I am proud of our new county executive, Kenneth Rogers, for taking a stand on the Ten Commandments at the recent meeting and all those commissioners who took a stand and for those who kept trying to put it down, I will remember you on election day.
You see, this country was formed on Godly guidelines – not on man’s – so who are you to tell God what to do with His words? You see, you worry so much about what man can do to you – in this case, just one man – you had better worry about what God can do to you for not standing up for what is right.
For the person who wanted the Ten Commandments taken down, he says it is against his rights. Well, what about our rights to have them up? Besides that, we live here in Warren County. He does not.
I urge each commissioner to act on this – the way God leads you and not the way man would. I also would urge every citizen to be at these meetings to see what goes on and then you will know what the one you voted for is standing up for.
When election time comes around, remember how your commissioner voted on matters that concern you and all of us here in Warren County.
We should make a stand and be heard. That’s our freedom. There is one good thing about this. If you allow the Ten Commandments to be taken down, you can never take them out of our hearts.
