Traffic Court: Standefer sentenced for sixth driving offense

A 67-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.

Included in traffic court action:

• Yancie D. Layne was ordered to serve 50 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $400 plus court costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for fourth-offense driving on a revoked license and DUI.

• Mitchell D. Standefer was directed to serve 105 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $50 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for sixth-offense driving on a revoked license.

• Jeremy W. Lockridge was bound over to the grand jury on the charge of DUI.

• Melody R. Christian was directed to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit her driver’s license for one year for DUI.

• Jason T. Lee was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs, forfeit his license for one year and perform 16 hours public service work for driving while impaired and driving on a suspended license.

• Benedicto S. Grimaldo was fined $50 plus costs for driving without a license.

• William R. Gillette, Willie A. Pascal and Tracy L. Stottlemire were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.

• Jose A. Luevano was instructed to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $100 plus costs for leaving the scene of an accident with injury and property damage.

• Alton T. Childers, Maudie M. Kennerly and Fredy A. Garcia were fined $10 plus costs for leaving the scene of an accident.

• Delora Bryant was given a six-month judicial diversion and must perform 16 hours public service work for shoplifting.

• Jonny R. Moore must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.

• Mark Adams must serve 10 days for violation of probation.

• Jeffery Grissom had his probation extended by six months and must attend anger management courses for violation of probation.
