Maude G. Turner, 83
McMinnville resident and Warren County native Maude G. Turner, 83, died June 28 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.
A homemaker and a member of the Church of God, she was the daughter of Lester and Kate Zoda Norris.
She is survived by sister, Virginia Farless of McMinnville and Lolda Weir of Beersheba Springs; and brother, Clifton Norris of Beersheba Springs.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until time of service Monday at Love-Cantrell & Cope.

James E. Griffith, 46
Smithville resident James E. Griffith, 46, died June 29 at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
The son of Bobbie Jean Neal Houk of Smithville and S.B. Griffith of Madison, he is survived by his wife, Melinda Griffith; children, James Mitchell, Christopher Douglas and Steve Bryan Griffith, all of Columbia; stepchildren, Gena Bain, Nena and Nathan Thomas, all of Alexandria; sisters, Deborah Page and Teresa Griffith, both of McMinnville and Melissa Culwell of Smithville; brothers, Charles Griffith of Alexandria and Maurice Griffith of Smithville; maternal grandmother, Nancy Lillian Neal of Smithville; and special family friend, Sue Spears of Madison. He was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Griffith; sister, Marie McBride; maternal grandfather, Clarence Neal; and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Virgil Braswell Griffith.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at DeKalb Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Colvert officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at DeKalb Funeral Home.
