NHC gets narrow win against Union Planters

Results from Tuesday, May 21, in boys training league baseball action saw NHC defeat Union Planters 17-13. For NHC, Kaleb Rymer and Jake Damon went 4-for-4, Jared Mullins had three hits and Conner Dixon had two hits. Damon, Rymer and Mullins each had a triple.

For Union Planters Jordan Dennis went 3-for-3, John Martin, Jacob Self, Thomas Locke and Blake Carter had two hits each.

• In other action, Foster and Foster defeated Confidence Builders 25-22. Alex Walker, Conley Chitwood, Cole Carlson, Ridge Reynolds and Tyler Phillips had three hits each. Dylan Jacobs, John Northcutt, Jordon Gribble and Cody Parkhurst had two hits each.

For Confidence Builders, Nick Myers went 4-for-4, Jared Kelly, Mitchell Morton and Tucker Lynn collected three hits each. Gary McComis, Will Marttala and Ryne Fults had two hits each.

• Results from Friday night, May 24, had Woodcarver over Rubley’s 15-5. Spencer Pryor went 4-for-4, Grayson Woods, Garrison Holmes, Robert Eschenbacher and Alan Robey went 3-for-3. Dustin Bond was 2-for-3 for Woodcarver.

For Rubley’s Zack Rubley had two hits. Casey Tomberlin, Austin Panter, Levi Felton, Hunter Daniel, Cameron Holt, Jacob Griffin and Kendall Rutledge had one hit each.

• Peking defeated the Dodgers 19-16, with each team picking up 24 hits. For Peking Collin Hutchins, Luke Hillis, Dillion Rowland, Austin Wright and K.C. Byars had three hits each. Dylan Jones, Micha Wells, Tyler Armstronge and Travis Hillis collected two hits each.

For the Dodgers, Dylan Barnes, David Lee, Chase Stewart and Will Warren had three hits each. Alex Hillis, Wesley Cleland, Tyler Dewey, Alec Pleasent and Kale Beasley had two hits each. Cole Rust added a triple.

• Satellite World defeated Quality Mold 24-23. For Satellite World Jacob Regan, Derek Brumley, Aaron Taylor, Hunter Chilton and Mitchell Barrett had three hits each, with Taylor connecting for a home run.
