Babe Ruth: Grissom fans six in rout of Rotary

Cody Grissom struck out six batters to get the win for Sun drop in their recent 11-1 win over Rotary Club.
Ben Dunn had two hits in the winning effort, while Jake Dudley, Drew Green, Dexter Hillis and Grissom all came through with a hit.

Charter Communications 11,

Brooks Palmer was credited with the win, and Alan McCormick came through with two hits for Charter. Todd Dunn had a pair of hits for Sun drop.

Union Planters 13,
Central Oil 5
Justin Armes got the win and notched six strikeouts, and helped his own cause with a hit for Union Planters. Martin Scott and Andrew King also had hits in the winning effort.
Cody Brown and Jordan Hill got a hit each for Central Oil.

Rotary Club 13,
Charter Communications 8
J.R. Drake and Jody Denny had two hits each for Rotary, with Drake scoring three runs. Jon Creek was credited with the win on the pitcher’s mound.
Drew Gump, Cam Montgomery, Brooks Palmer and Ryan Ramsey had a hit each for Charter.

First National 9,
Sun drop 6
Alex Self got the win for First National, and was one of five players to get a hit for the winning team. Tony Grissom, Jordan Powers, Jonathan Morris and Matt Shields each had a hit for First National.
Coty Grissom had a pair of hits for Sun drop.

Union Planters 4
Drew Gump got the win, while Cam Montgomery, Ryan Ramsey and Richie Webb had two hits apiece for Charter. Wes Williams came through with a hit for Union Planters.

Central Oil 8,
First National 5
Jordan Underhill got the job done at the mound and on the plate for Central Oil, striking out five batters on his way to the win. Underhill and David Beard had a pair of hits each.
Alex Self, Matt Shields, Mike Jones, Justin Adcock and Tyler Jones each had hits for First National.

Charter Communications 6,
Sun drop 0
Drew Gump got the shutout win for Charter, with Cam Montgomery, Brooks Palmer, Ryan Ramsey and Jacob Taylor all coming through with hits.

VFW 12,
Bridgestone 2
In 15- and 16-year-old action, six different players came through with hits to preserve the win for pitcher Jonathan Colangione.
Terrence Crim, Jonathan Barnes, Josh Mathis, Ross Marlowe, Jonathan York and Kevin Fults all had hits for VFW, while Darren Mabe had two hits for Bridgestone.
