Pioneers scheduled to get back to action today

Just when the Pioneer baseball team began raining hits down on their opponents, the skies took a cue and began delivering some rain of their own.

Both of the Pioneers’ Saturday games, as well as Monday’s scheduled road contest at Coffee County and Tuesday’s game against Lebanon, were cancelled due to soggy weather.

But barring any more inclement conditions, the team will get back to action today, when they open their District 7-AAA schedule against Lebanon at Baird Park.

Monday’s game has been tentatively rescheduled for April 10, as part of a doubleheader at Patrick Ramsey Field.
