Little Miss and Mister 2002 will be selected at pageant

McMinnville Jaycees will present the 2002 Little Miss and Mister Warren County Pageant at 6 p.m., April 27, at Hickory Creek Elementary Gymnasium. Each child must be between the ages of 4 and 6 the day of the pageant, but not enrolled in the first grade.

The Jaycees have set an April 15 deadline for submitting applications. The forms must be taken to Kathy’s Bridal in Plaza Shopping Center along with the $25 entry fee. If you would like your child’s photo to be published in the Southern Standard, the picture and an additional $5 fee must accompany the application.

Each contestant must be a resident of Warren County. Judging will be based on poise, personality and appearance. If contestants are fearful of the stage on pageant night, parents will be asked to remove their child from the competition.

No child may participate in both the pageant and entertainment portion of the pageant. Children of Jaycee members are allowed to enter the pageant, and judges will not be residence of Warren County.

Rehearsal will take place April 26 at 6 p.m. at Hickory Creek Elementary School gymnasium. Admission is $3 per adult and $1 for children under 12.
