Ruby Pauline York, 106
A member of the United Methodist Church, Miss York lived in McMinnville for 98 years before moving to North Georgia eight years ago.
The daughter of the late Ben H. and Mary Denton York, she is survived by a niece and her husband, Mary and Robert Belcher of Ringgold, Ga.; great-nieces, Joy Smothers of Apison and Pat Hardy of Woodstock, Ga.; great-nephews, Bobby Belcher, Tommy York, Jimmy York, Billy York and John Cady; great-great-nephews, Mark and David Hardy, Beau and Taylor Belcher and Shane Hatch; and great-great-niece, Paige Hatch.
Services were held Thursday night at Lane Funeral Home Chapel in Rossville, Ga., with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating.
