TMF takes 9-2 victory
TMF jumped out early, and never relinquished the lead. Castle Heights scored one run in the first inning and one run in the fifth. TMF scored two runs in the first inning, two runs in the second, three in the third and two in the fourth for the seven-run win. The two teams combined for 33 hits on the night.
For TMF, Chelsey Chandler, Madison Adams, Jessica Newby, Brittany Porter, Brittany Myers and Maddi Taylor had three hits each, with Taylor connecting for a triple and Chandler getting a round-tripper.
McKenzi Rockwell and Taylor Knight had two hits each and Lydia Wilson added one hit.
For Castle Heights, Haley Bennett had three hits, including two doubles. Maya Denning also had three hits.
Katie Tubb had a pair of triples, while Sarah Owens and She’nce Ramsey had one hit each.
