McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bettye Joyce Holt Davenport, 72, died June 19 at Raintree Manor after a lingering illness.
A seamstress and homemaker and a member of Bratcher’s Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Cecil and Mary Adeline Dennis Holt; and was preceded in death by her husband, John Lloyd Davenport; daughter, Phyllis Ann Davenport; granddaughter, Mashayla Sheiree Davenport; brothers, Austin James (Pete) Holt, J.C. Holt and Herbert Holt; and a sister.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Douglas (Doug) Davenport, Tommy and Laurie Davenport, Randy Davenport, and Jason Judkins, all of McMinnville, and Kenneth Davenport of Cookeville; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Darrel Johnson, Carolyn and James Judkins, Donna Eldridge, Linda and Gary Cooper, Patricia Richardson and Kim Farley, all of McMinnville; 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at High’s Chapel with Rex Boles and Ricky Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service today at High’s.

Bernice Stanley Fults, 85
McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bernice Stanley Fults, 85, died June 19 at NHC after an extended illness.
A retired employee of Formfit Rogers and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late H.J. and Sarah Elizabeth Walker Stanley; and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fults in 1959; sons, Henry and Gerald Fults; sister, Roberta Brooks; and brothers, Gentry, C.B. and Junior Stanley.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Howard Witty of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Hubert and Barbara Fults of McMinnville; sisters, Essie Hillis of McMinnville and Christene Lafevers of Shady Grove; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Tuesday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Lawrence and Steve Hillis officiating. Burial followed at Mt. View Cemetery.

Nannie Rigsby, 83
McMinnville resident and Warren County native Nannie Rigsby, 83, died June 21 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.
A retired shoemaker with General Shoe and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Jesse L. and Mary Hill Barnes Sr.; and was preceded in death by daughter, Nancy Jean Rigsby.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Rigsby; son, Alvin Rigsby of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren; and sister, Mary Ellen Milstead of McMinnville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel with Layne Dix officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High’s.

Frances Lorraine Harvey, 83
Paducah resident, formerly of McMinnville, Frances Lorraine Harvey, 83, died June 22 at Western Baptist Hospital.
The retired owner/operator of the Artists’ Pad in McMinnville and a member of McMinnville First Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Zula Haltom Johnson; and was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Frank Dubart Harvey Sr.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara Watson of Greenville and Deborah Harvey of Paducah; son, Frank Dubart (Bart) Harvey Jr. of Bethpage; grandchildren, Scott Watson, Beth Barkley, A.J. Harvey, Tyler Harvey, Stacey Harvey and Kirk Sparkman.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory in Smartt Station.

Jason Lee Chrisawn, 33
Old Fort, N.C., resident and Fort Lewis, Wash., native Jason Lee Chrisawn, 33, died June 18.
A graduate of Fisburne Military School in Waynesboro, Va., he served in the U.S. Navy from 1992-97 as a welder at Little Creek, Va., and La Madalena, Sardinia, Italy.
He is survived by parents, Michael W. and Lea Chrisawn, Karen C. and Jeff Nutter; grandparents, Clarence E. and Evelyn Chrisawn, Robert E. and Juanita Clark; stepbrothers and their spouses, Chuck and Amber Thornton, Andrew Thornton, J.B. and Diane Nutter III, Christopher L. Nutter; aunts and uncles, Bettina C. and Jim Thornton, Kathi C. and Steve Baucom, Paul G. Clark, Brian D. and Cathy Clark; cousins, Samantha and Jim Case, Joshua and Holly Bost, Kris C. Baucom, Shana D. Baucom, Robert G. Clark, John S. Clark and Kathryn E. Clark.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Sue Moffitt Chrisawn; great-grandparents, John W. and Lola F. Moffitt, Cleve E. and Eva S. Chrisawn, Irl D. and Alma O. Clark, Verne L. and Hazelann G. Peugh.
Memorial services were held Tuesday at Mountain Gateway Museum Amphitheater in Old Fort, N.C. with Rev. James Bernhardt officiating. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Hickory, N.C., or the First Presbyterian Church of Bessemer, Ala., or the First Presbyterian Church in McMinnville, or the local humane society. Westmoreland Funeral Home of Marion, N.C., was in charge of arrangements.

Preston Layne Doak, 59
McMinnville resident and Warren County native Preston Layne Doak, 59, died unexpectedly June 20 at his home.
A supervisor with Oster Corporation and a member of Forest Park Baptist Church, he was a member of the Tennessee National Guard for 10 years.
The son of Jack and Ruth Anderson Doak, he is survived by his wife, Billie Elaine Basham Doak; son, Shannon Layne Doak of McMinnville; brother, Larry Doak of Sparta; nephews, Kenny and Sammy Doak, both of McMinnville; several great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at High’s Chapel with Billy Campbell and Eddie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held today until time of service at High’s.
