Womack Printing downs K&R

Womack had a big first inning, sending three runs across the plate, while holding K&R scoreless. K&R bounced back in the second with three runs as Womack platted one run in the second. Womack scored one in the third and two in the fifth. K&R added one run in the fifth inning.
For Womack Printing, Ashley McBee, Brittany Ferrell and Kathryn McKinley had two hits each and Sarah Fryar added one hit. For K&R, Krystal Richmond had two hits, Kaitom Tanner, Brittany Martin and Tykesha Martin had one hit each.
In the second game of the night, Cumberland Bank defeated Malone’s Remodeling 8-5.
Malone’s scored one run in the first, one in the third, one run in the fourth and two runs in the sixth. Cumberland scored two in the fourth, four in the fifth and two runs in the sixth for the win.
Jessica Mullican picked up the win with seven K’s on the night and Brooke Bowman took the loss, giving up seven hits.
For Cumberland Bank, Jessica Mullican and Katie Rogers had two hits each. Kayla Bowdoin, Samatha Paz and Cassandra Johnson had one hit each. For Malone’s, Ashlee Malone had two hits, Brooke Bowman, Gracie Harvey, Katie McCorkle, Kelly Brown and Tosha Young had one hit each.
Last week, Cumberland Bank slipped past Malone’s Remodeling 6-4. Jessica Mullican picked up the win allowing five hits. Brook Bowmen suffered the loss.

K&R Vending downed Womack Printing 9-5. Womack scored two runs in the first and three in the second. K&R scored one in the second inning, two in the third, one in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the sixth. Cassie Wanamaker picked up the win for K&R.
For Womack’s, Lauren Dodson and Brittany Ferrell had two hits each. Ashley McBee and Holly Ray added one hit each. For K&R, Leah Walker and Cassie Wanamaker had two hits each. Kaitom Tanner, Krystal Richmond, Kristie King and Brittany Martin had one hit each.
K&R Vending downed Malone’s 4-2. For K&R, Kaitom Tanner, Krystal Richmond, Kristie King, Cassie Wanamaker, Rachel Walker, Lauren Tobitt and Tykesha Martin had one hit each. Kris Surles and Katie McCorkle had Malone’s only two hits of the day.
