Barbara Elizabeth Noblin to be bride

Barbara Elizabeth Noblin will become the bride of Richard Wendell James in a double ring ceremony taking place Aug. 14 at the bride’s family residence.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Franklin J. Noblin. She is the granddaughter of the late Frank and Sarah Noblin of Flomaton, Ala., and the late Ralph and Alma Young of Olive Branch, Miss.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Wendell James of Bedford, Ky. He is the grandson of Mrs. Joel Byrd, the late Ollie J. James and the late Clemen and Rachel Gibson, all of Lexington, Tenn.

Miss Noblin is a 1993 graduate of Warren County Senior High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga., and master’s degree in school counseling from Middle Tennessee State University.

She is currently a counselor for St. Joseph School in Knoxville.

Her fianc? is a Fine Arts graduate of UT Martin. He is working as a potter for Smoky Mountain Pottery in Gatlinburg.
