Judge Ross hears 52-person docket
A 52-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court.
Included in court action:
• Effrain Mendoza, Candace Renee Gordon and Darrin Barrera were bound over to the grand jury on charges of conspiracy to sell cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Thomas D. Williams was bound over to the grand jury on charges of manufacture of drugs and evading arrest.
• Damon Rainey was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-29 sentence for theft.
• Douglas Orrick Jr. was directed to serve 90 days of an 11-29 sentence for theft.
• Robert Yates was given an 11-29 sentence and released on time served for theft.
• Anderson Gonzalez was instructed to serve 60 days of an 11-29 sentence for theft and vandalism.
• Harvey Akins must serve five days of a six-month sentence, pay $75 plus costs and stay out of Wal-Mart for two years for theft.
• Misty Renee Fults was handed a six-month probationary sentence for hindering secured creditors.
• Traci Jordan was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must make restitution for passing four worthless checks totaling $101.
• Traci Leigh Jordan was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 48 hours public service work for passing two worthless checks totaling $39.
• Chris Mason was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 16 hours public service work for passing a worthless check for $35.
• Jonathan Neale was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 16 hours public service work for passing two worthless checks for $112.
• Karen Roberts was given a six-month probationary sentence for passing a worthless check for $14.
• Michael S. Cook was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must attend conflict management and perform 16 hours public service work for assault.
• Shane Michael West was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 24 hours public service work and attend anger management classes for domestic assault.
• Don Wayne Keaton Jr. was handed a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs and perform eight hours public service work for cruelty to animals.
• Eric Dwayne Phillips was fined $50 plus costs and must perform eight hours public service work for possession of drugs without a prescription.
• Jerry Shane Ray was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must perform 24 hours public service work for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
• James Albert Rankhorn must pay $50 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for consumption of alcohol under the age of 21.
• Richard D. McCormick was fined $50 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for disorderly conduct.
• Scott Ryan Leonard must pay $10 plus costs and perform eight hours public service work for disorderly conduct.
• Jerry D. Forstythe must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for disorderly conduct.
• Robert Gibbs was given a six-month probationary sentence for harassment.
• William Norris was fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
• Tiffany Reed had her probation extended by a year for violation of probation.
