Feb. 28: Tall tales to be woven on MTSU theater stage

In presenting an original children’s play that is rich in national heritage, MTSU Theater will call upon Paul Bunyon, Pecos Bill, Mike Fink, Annie Christmas and Slue Foot Sue — all heroes of America’s tall tales — when it delivers “American Tall Tales” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28, on the stage of MTSU’s Tucker Theater.

Advance tickets are available by calling MTSU’s Ticket Office at 898-2103 or by visiting the ticket office, which is located at Floyd Stadium, Gate 1A, on the MTSU campus. Tickets will also be available at the door on the performance dates.

Tickets are $8 general admission and $6 for MTSU employees and senior citizens. School-age children will be admitted for $4 each, and MTSU students will be admitted free with a valid MTSU ID.

Proceeds from the performances will help support student travel for an international tour of the program.
