Boyd names top 5 students

Boyd Christian School has announced the top five students in its 2003-04 graduating class with Chase Hard claiming the No. 1 spot as valedictorian.

“We are extremely proud of these seniors,” said Boyd principal Eva Ferrell. “They have worked very hard to reach their academic goals and it is our belief they will excel in a much grander fashion in college and their life-long careers. They are wonderful examples of what honor students should be.”

Hard, the son of Scott and Dee Hard, is followed by co-salutatorians. Sharing the No. 2 spot are Heather Davis, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Davis of Manchester, and Mary Reynolds, daughter of Joe and Grace Reynolds of McMinnville.

Rounding out the top five, in order, are Tenara Jones, daughter of Rhonda Jones and Troy Jones of McMinnville, and Alicia Driver, daughter of Michael and Sharon Driver of McMinnville.

Boyd has 11 members in this year’s graduating class.
