Ross hears 49-person court docket

A 49-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.

Included in court action:

• Johnny Brady was bound over to the grand jury on charges of fifth-offense DUI and fourth-offense driving on a revoked license.

• Allen Trial Morton was bound over to the grand jury on charges of DUI and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

• Cristobal Correa Martinez was instructed to serve 47 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $610 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license.

• Marc Castle was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $600 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for second-offense DUI.

• Michael Shane Higgins was directed to serve 45 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $600 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for two years for second-offense DUI.

• Alberto Flores Ruiz was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and pay $50 plus costs for driving on a suspended license.

• Jeremy Campbell was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for simple possession of drugs.

• Penny Tittsworth was directed to serve 15 days of a six-month sentence and pay $300 plus costs for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.

• Miguel Hernandez Bautista, Eric Gaspur and Jose Hernandez were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.

• David Galaz must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court and must also serve the balance of his former sentence for violation of probation.
