Third major driving offense gets Conoway 150 days in jail
A 28-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions traffic court.
Included in court action:
• Robert W. Conoway was ordered to serve 150 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $50 plus costs, forfeit his driver’s license for three years and have his probation extended for third-offense driving on a revoked license and violation of probation.
• Victor Gingerich was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for driving without a license and simple possession of drugs.
• Theodore Hester must serve five days and pay $50 plus costs for driving on a revoked license.
• David Markum was bound over to the grand jury on the charge of DUI.
• Paul W. Muncey was directed to serve 48 hours, pay $50 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for driving on a revoked license.
• Jennifer White was instructed to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit her driver’s license for one year for DUI.
• Tammy Burrus was ordered to serve 10 days, pay $60 plus costs and forfeit her driver’s license for one year for driving on a suspended license and failure to appear in court.
• Jesus Martinez was directed to serve 48 hours and pay $60 plus costs for driving without a license and reckless driving.
• Larry Wayne Bain Jr. was fined $50 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for driving on a suspended license.
• Denise Ferrell was ordered to serve six days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $10 plus costs for theft.
• Ignacio Rios was fined $10 plus costs for leaving the scene of an accident.
• Charles Whitmire was fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
Clarification
• Jennifer White who runs a day care on Sharpe Street is not the Jennifer White charged with DUI.
