The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harry E. Burck, Jr. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Burck, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Johnny J. Hagewood and the late Frank Dunklin, Jr.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. James Earl Williams, Jr. of Knoxville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Thomas G. Robinson and the late Mr. Robinson, Mr. James Earl Williams, Sr. and the late Mrs. Williams.
The fireplace in the Carriage House was flanked by urn stands holding ferns and white peonies, providing the wedding setting. An arrangement of fuschia peonies and roses in three hues of pink graced the mantle.
The bride was escorted by her father and was resplendent wearing a silk candlelight strapless gown. The a-line model was overlaid with silk organza and featured a chapel length train. An antique diamond brooch, that belonged to her great-great grandmother, adorned her hair.
She carried a bouquet of pink and white peonies and Anna roses, hand tied with candlelight satin ribbon.
Allison Tupper served as matron of honor; with Andrea Burck serving as maid of honor. They are both sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids included Lee Doettl, sister of the groom; Lorien Young Sites, Marissa Ann Moses and Emily Adams.
They were all attired in strapless pink chiffon tea length models. Each carried bouquets of pink roses and white peonies tied with pink ribbon.
Taylor Andrew Williams of Knoxville served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Bob Davis, Erwin Tupper, Mark Steinle and Steve Doettl.
The mother of the bride was attired in a pink silk shantung column dress. Her jacket was embellished with embroidery and beads.
The bridegroom’s mother wore a celadon green silk tea length model with matching jacket.
A reception was given for the bridal couple by the bride’s parents at Historic Falcon Manor. Guest tables were adorned with translucent pink vases filled with roses in varying shades of pink. The couple left the reception wearing their wedding attire by limousine.
The new Mrs. Williams is a 1998 graduate of The Webb School in Bell Buckle, a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of University of Tennessee Knoxville, and a May 2005 graduate of University of Tennessee School of Law with a juris doctor degree.
He is a 2002 summa cum laude graduate of University of Tennessee and will be attending West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in the fall.
Following a honeymoon cruise to Mexico, the couple will residing in West Virginia.
A bridal brunch was given by Mrs. Andrew Dean, Mrs. Patrick McGee, Mrs. Sam Young and Mrs. G.J. Jacobs at the Dean residence.
The bridesmaids luncheon was given by Mrs. Michael R. Roberts, Mrs. Greg Smith and Mrs. Andrew Roberts at the Michael Roberts’ home.
