Rev. Marvin Paul Wilhite, 75
A retired minister and carpenter, he pastored several churches in Tennessee and Arkansas before retiring in McMinnville where he was a member of Locust Street Church of God.
The son of the late Walter and Stella Elizabeth Baird Wilhite; he was preceded in death by daughter, Stella Mae Wilhite; son, Walter Frank Wilhite; sisters, Mary Faulkner, Emma Evernight and Ethel Hoskins; and brother, Edward Wilhite.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Wilhite; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Rev. Walter Isbill of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Angela Isbill and Walter Paul Isbill, both of Jefferson City; brother, Farris Wilhite of Clinton Township, Mich.; sister, Meda Call of Cassville, Mo.; brother and sister-in-law, Walter Leon and Barbara Wilhite of Sorento, Ill.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. today at McMinnville Home Chapel with Roland Sharp, Jerry Feathers and Tim Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Macon County Memorial Gardens in Lafayette at 11 a.m. Saturday. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of service today at McMinnville Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stella Wilhite Memorial Scholarship Fund at Lee University in Cleveland or to Lazarus House Hospice in Cookeville.
