Pugh, Cripps announce plans

Rebecca Jane Pugh will wed John Darrell Cripps in a ceremony June 11 at First Baptist Church in Smithville.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe H. Pugh are happy to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Jane Pugh to John Darrell Cripps of Dowelltown.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Joe and Mary Pugh and the mother of Jordyn Bethany. Her grandparents are Betty Jean and the late Russell Herndon of Smithville; Jenelle and the late Harold Pugh of Dowelltown. She is currently a student of Tennessee Technological University, majoring in pre-pharmacy.

The future bridegroom is the son of Wayne and Helen Cripps of Alexandria. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs.. Gilbert Walden; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hobert Cripps, all of Dowelltown. He is a 1994 graduate of DeKalb County High School and is currently employed with TRW Automotive in Lebanon.

John, Rebecca and Jordyn will be moving to Birmingham, AL in the fall where she will be attending the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University.

The wedding will take place Sat., June 11 at First Baptist Church in Smithville.
