Eight games were scheduled on Saturday in the boys 7- and 8-year-old coach pitch league, due to three games having to be rescheduled from Friday night.
Custom Tool & Die remains undefeated, with Quality Mold, Barr’s and Dependable Brakes with one loss each.
In the first game of the day Hoover & Son Insurance defeated Stewart’s Farms and Stables 13-3. Both teams pushed across two runs in the first inning. Hoover scored three in the third, two in the fourth, four in the fifth, and two in the sixth. Stewarts scored just one more run in the fifth.
Drew Roberts led Hoover’s with four hits. Reed Garrison, Paul Cross and Jonathan Walker had three hits each. Joshua Brown, Ezra Dixson and Garrett Jones added two hits each and Will Basham added one hit. For Stewarts, Bradley Stewart had three hits. Adrian Lusk and Ethan Roberts had two hits. Jack Davidson, Keain Hildreth, Chance Wood and Devin Godshall added one hit each.
Barr’s rolled over the Warren County Warriors 21-13 in five innings. Barrs picked up 25 hits, while the Warriors had 20 on the day.
Barr’s scored two in the first, nine in the second, seven in the third, and three in the fourth. Warren County answered with seven runs in the second, four in the third and two in the fourth.
Joseph Webb led Barr’s with four hits. Trace Taylor, Zech Clark, Anthony Palmer and Ben Roller had three hits each. Daruis Wright, Jake Pennington, Matthew Savage and Sean Stafford had two hits each. Tyler Mills and Nicholas Pedigo added two hits each. For the Warriors, Cade Carlson and Jett Urtubees had four hits each. Ethan Bandy had three, Holden Baker, Max Gallagher, Rayce Brewer and Matt Keeler picked up two hits each and Michael Stotts added one hit.
Quality Mold pounded out 24 hits in its 18-7 win over BLC. Quality Mold scored six in the first, second and third innings. BLC scored three in the second and four in the fourth.
For Quality Mold, Dusty Ledbetter, Wesley Parkhurst, Chase Frye, Tyler Judge, Gavin Laxzon and Cameron Shelton had three hits each. Aaron Justice, Bailey Moore and Braydon Lewis had two hits each. For BLC, Justin Warner, Mitch Owens, Zachery Estes and Skylar Thomas had two hits each. Lucas Estes, Corey Richardson and Ethan Mikkola had one hit each.
Custom Tool & Die downed ABC Ice 23-4. ABC Ice scored one in the first and three in the fourth. Custom scored four in the first, eight in the second, five in the third and six in the fourth. For Custom, Dylan Tubb, Brock Majors, Collin Smedley, Griffin Jones and Austin Spurling led with four hits each. Brock Watson, Ryan Diamond and Malik King had three hits each. Mathew Burnett and Daniel McGee had two hits each. For ABC, Christian Cleland and Chase Hollingsworth had tow hits each. Will Sweeton, Lucas Young, Carlos Villeges, Elijah Cleland, Enrique Villeges and Regan Prater had one hit each.
NHC collected 24 hits against L&C Construction as NHC rolled to a 14-5 victory. L&C had three runs in the third and two in the fifth. NHC scored four in the first, three in the second, four in the fourth and two in the fifth. For NHC, Jordan Hillis and Cody Eldridge led with four its each. Trevor Young and Will Lupo had three hits each. Dwight Woodlee, David Jaco, Nick Stern and Dustin Hale had two hits each. Martin Grissom and Zach Lorentzen had one hit each. For L&C, Christian Wilkinson, Micah Martin, Dylan George, Garrett Bond, Gavin Scruggs and Eli Lance had two hits each. Thomas Cantrell and Ryan Mellons had one hit each.
Dependable Brakes stopped BLC with a 23-5 victory. Dependable scored seven in the first, eight in the second and eight in the third. For Dependable, Nate Grandy and Tristan Reish had three hits each. Travis Smartt, Holden Carter, Logan Bodnar and Mitchell Madewell had two hits each. Merek McColloch, Nicholas Tilton, J.C. Dryden, Austin Cardin and Hayden Carter had one hit each. ABC had two hits each by Corey Richardson and Zachery Estes. Skylar Thomas, Briar Ward and Jaben Bouldin added one hit each.
Custom Tool held Stewart’s Farms to nine hits in it’s 19-6 win. Custom pushed four runs across the plate in the first, one in the second, three in the third, three in the fourth and eight in the fifth. For Custom, Dylan Bond had four hits, Dylan Tubb, Brock Majors, Griffin Jones, Ryan Diamond and Brock Watson had three hits each. Collin Smedley, Austin Spurling and Charlie King had two hits each. For Stewart’s, Adrian Lusk, Jack Davidson, Bradley Stewart, Grant Walker and Chance Wood had two hits each. Ethan Roberts and Devin Godshall had one hit each.
L&C Construction defeated ABC Ice 16-8. L&C sent four runs across the plate in the first, one in the second, six in the third and five in the fifth. ABC score one in the first, six in the second and one in the fourth. For L&C, Eli Lance led the way with four hits. Christian Wilkinson and Dylan George had three hits each. Ryan Mellons, Garrett Bond, Micah Martin and Thomas Cantrell picked up two hits each. Gavin Scruggs and Christopher Rambo had one hit each. For ABC, Christian Cleland picked up three hits. Lucas Young, Abdias Garcia and Enrique Villeges had two hits each and Regan Prater added one hit. 7-8 boys coach-pitch
